Summary:
The Cobot Weld Operator will operate and maintain cobot welding equipment to ensure efficient and effective production of high-quality products.
The responsibilities include programming the cobot, operating the welding equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
KnowledgeKnowledge of welding processes.
Must be familiar with different types of welding processes such as TIG, MIG, and ARC.
Knowledge of welding equipment:
You should be able to operate and maintain different types of welding machines and equipment.
Understanding of safety procedures.
Familiar with safety procedures related to welding, including the use of protective gear.
Skills / AbilitiesAbove average hand-eye coordination and dexterity to be able to manipulate the welding equipment.
Basic computer skills to be able to program and operate the cobot welding machine.
Have the physical stamina required for standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Inspect welded components for defects, perform quality checks, and make adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot technical issues with the equipment.
Able to pay attention to details in order to ensure the welding process is accurate and precise.
Able to communicate effectively with other team members, including engineers and technicians.
Able to work in different environments, adjust to changes in the production line and work well under pressure.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboratively work with the team to meet production targets while maintaining a high level of quality.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Education / RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cobot welding equipment.
Strong understanding of welding processes, including MIG and TIG welding.
Experience with cobot programming and operation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Physical RequirementsTeam Member must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
Team Member must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop.
Team Member must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Team Member must be able to see, hear, focus, read, write, understand instructions in EnglishTeam Member must be able to understand all verbal communication and react accordingly.
