The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide restorative therapy to the client while using special techniques or providing adaptive devices to assist the client in gaining independence in activities of living in accordance with the plan of care.
The OT will also oversee the Occupational Therapy Assistants to assure appropriate implementation of the plan of care.
Performs comprehensive subjective and objective admission and ongoing assessment of client functional status and activities of daily livingAdministers functional ability tests and competency as neededEvaluate adaptive equipment needs and obtain equipment for clientFormulate individualized therapy plan of care that incorporates analysis of assessment dataProvide therapy interventions aimed at achieving realistic outcomes within a specified period of timeModifies and updates the therapy plan of care to reflect progress toward outcomesParticipates in the development, review and updating of the care planConsistently demonstrates competency with occupational therapy skills according to personal and legal scope of practiceEvaluate the home environment and make appropriate recommendationsInstruct client, family and other team members in proper use of assistive equipment, prosthetic devices and adaptation devicesEvaluates effectiveness of teaching and modifies accordinglyPromotes client/family autonomyRelays significant changes in status to physician and other members of the team in a time period consistent with client needMaintains client records showing systematic assessment, planning, intervention and evaluationDocuments client charts, records and clinical notes legibly and according to documentation guidelines and standardsSupervises certified occupational therapy assistants according to organization policy and state regulations.

Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredit ed jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Possess and maintains current CPR certificationOne (1) year experience as an Occupational TherapistLicensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization requirements.
#PRNTHERAPYSalary:
$40 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
